Deep Lake is a beautiful lake in the Wind River Range. Good hiking is available along the Highline Trail, and camping at Rawhide Ranch is always a great experience. Nearby lakes? Sure, Marion Lake is in the vicinity of Deep Lake, and camping is available at Circle Up Camper Court Shop. Be careful coming to the Wind River Range, you might not ever want to go back home again. Go for a hike on the Roaring       Fork Trail; there are tremendous places to look at along the Moon Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. All through the summertime months, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Deep Lake, and the nighttime is fairly chillier of course, ordinarily in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are usually in the 30's with temperatures at Deep Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. If you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Dubois is a delightful choice, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Green River. Not much precipitation falls here at Deep Lake; June is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is February. Yeah, come up here to the Wind River Range for a great time.
