Be careful coming to the Medicine Bow Mountains, you might not ever want to go home again. Stay the night at Deep Creek Campground, and Deep Lake is right by the Circle Trail. Hiking along the Lakes Trail is wonderful fun, and the snow is pleasant at Snowy Range. That right there is a lot of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Medicine Bow Mountains has it all. After a long day outdoors The Sage And Sand Motel LLC is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two, and you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Medicine Bow Trail. It is very waterless here at Deep Lake ordinarily; all through the month of May you get the most rain around here; February is the month with the least moisture. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun                  things at Deep Lake. Browns Peak is a peak you can observe from Deep Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend North Platte River. This lake is one of the great places here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. The warmest time of the year at Deep Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Deep Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
