And that's not all you can do here at Deep Lake. Going for a hike along the Lakes Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Lakes are nice; Arrowhead Lake is a lake that's next to Deep Lake. North Platte River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby, and Deep Lake is a great location to camp, Deep Creek Campground is a great location. While you're here at Deep Lake you can take a       hike along the Medicine Bow Trail, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Snowy Range is quite near. Deep Lake is a beautiful lake in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Through the summer at Deep Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Deep Lake temperatures drop to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Have                  a fine hiking adventure along the Circle Trail, and Lewis Lake Campground is a great campground here. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Medicine Bow Mountains. The top of Browns Peak is easily made out from Deep Lake, and The Sage And Sand Motel LLC is a great place to get some rest. Deep Lake gets very little rainfall; May is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest.
