There's so much to do here at Deep Creek Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Bear Lodge Campground is a delightful site for that, and Deep Creek Reservoir is not the only location nearby, Kilpatrick Reservoir is a nearby lake. Best Western Inn At Sundance is a glorious location to get some rest, and you can have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Geis Trail.       Deep Creek Reservoir is pretty dried up usually; the month with most of the rain is June; January is the month with the least moisture. Summertime highs at Deep Creek Reservoir typically tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows at Deep Creek Reservoir through the winter commonly plunge into the 10's. You simply have to love Deep Creek Reservoir. This                  lake is so wonderful. Deep Creek Dam is a beautiful location in the vicinity of Deep Creek Reservoir, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Nilson Trail.
