    A visit to De Lacy Lakes is always a good idea. There's so much to do here at De Lacy Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Madison Campground is a nice site for that, and there are wonderful sites to explore along the Mary Mountain Trail. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Mammoth Hot Springs is a delightful choice, and going for a hike on the Mallard Lake Trail is always a pleasant adventure. For the duration of the days of summer highs here at  
   De Lacy Lakes reach the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the period of the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's with temperatures at De Lacy Lakes dipping down into the 0's during winter nights.
Any time is a wonderful time at De Lacy Lakes if you have a thing about the outdoors. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Snake River. It is very waterless here at De Lacy Lakes regularly; the wettest month of the year is commonly June,
 
               that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is February. Some of the water nearby flows, like Herron Creek, and Corkscrew Hill is trouble-free to spot from De Lacy Lakes.
This lake is so wonderful. Craig Pass is a tremendous place to spend some time at, and close by you find the De Lacy Creek Trail which is a nice hiking trail.
