Good hiking is available along the Mallard Lake Trail, and there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Snake River. There's some flowing water close by, Herron Creek is a stream you can explore while you're here. All through the warm months at De Lacy Lakes temperatures are commonly in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the       40's.
