Hell's Half Acre Motel and Cafe
 | 1 PHOTO The sign's still there and so is the old restaurant. This was taken 3 years ago. I hadn't been there since I was a little girl and the restaurant was still open back then. I was one of the little girls that got yelled at for getting to close to the edge...LOL... Go in East of Hell's Half Acre, plenty of gates, but if you respect the landowner and close the gates and stay on the trails, you can actually drive down to the bottom of this little canyon, I know I have many times.? Just close the gates behind you.... I remember as a child going through Hells Half Acre to go to or from Worland. I remember me and my family ate at the restaurant. But its sad to see what little devious named town has become nothing but a ghost town :( One day I'll revisit it with my children and show them that the country side of Wyoming is the best place to be when you need to release some steam.... |
