If you came for an overnight stay Scab Creek Campground is a great spot to camp, and you can catch a sight of       Baily Peak from Darren Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Middle Fork Trail, and needless to say, A journey to Kagevah Pass is always fun. While you're here at Darren Lake you can take a hike along the Fremont Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Bull Lake Creek. Darren Lake is regularly a quite dried out place; the month with most of the rain is May, and December meanwhile is the driest month. Life's                  too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Wind River Range. Camping is available at Big Sandy Campground, of course you could also stop at Ice Lakes if you're here; it's not far at all. Summer at Darren Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 40's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Darren Lake.
