This lake is so wonderful. If you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Greybull River; Americinn - Cody, Wy is a good location to get some rest. Shoshone River is a good whitewater spot in close proximity to Darrah Number 1 Reservoir; getting to Bridge Creek from Darrah Number 1 Reservoir is trouble-free. Not much precipitation falls here at Darrah Number 1 Reservoir; through       May this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is December. This lake is so wonderful. Yellowstone Valley Inn is a nice campground here. A pleasant visit to Pete Miller Park is a magnificent way to spend an afternoon, and Darrah Dam has pleasant water scenery. Be careful coming to Darrah Number 1 Reservoir, you might not ever want to go home again. Darrah Number 1 Reservoir is a good place to camp, TK's RV Park is a good place, and do                  take a hike on the Timber Creek Trail. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Piney Creek Trail; Coe Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could go to. The Jack Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, and a great close by hotel is Cody Cowboy Village. During the summer at Darrah Number 1 Reservoir highs are typically in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. During the winter highs are regularly in the 30's, and nighttime lows throughout the winter for Darrah Number 1 Reservoir tend to be in the 10's.   Cody Cowboy Village, Cody 11 miles away Cody Cowboy Village is located close to all local activities including the world famous Buffalo Bill Historic Museum.
