The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Dana Reservoir with overnight lows in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Dana Reservoir. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Bighorn Mountains. Head up to Antelope Butte and strap some skis to your feet, and if you       need a place to stay The Passage Resort at Big Horn is a pleasant choice. Not much rain falls here at Dana Reservoir; May is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is February. There's some flowing water close by, Stockade Creek is a stream you can explore while here, and you simply have to pop by T R Bench since you're here at Dana Reservoir. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Dana Reservoir. Camping at                  South Tongue Campground is always a good experience, and there's splendid hiking along the Little Horn Trail. Dana Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Bighorn Mountains. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Big Horn Ski; don't leave Dana Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Dry Fork Trail. Just can't get enough of the Bighorn Mountains. Nearby lakes? Sure, Dinwiddie Lake is in close proximity to Dana Reservoir, and paddling on Tongue River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful.
