This lake is so wonderful. Togwotee Mountain Lodge is a great site to get some rest, and Crystal Creek Campground is a nice local campground. Looking for something near Dallas Lake? Goose Lake is nearby; going for a hike on the Purdy Basin Trail is always a good adventure. It is very waterless here at Dallas Lake usually; January is the wettest month with most snow, and July is the       month with the least moisture. The Wind River Range scenery is always beautiful. Go for a hike on the Clear Creek Trail, and visiting Grand Teton National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. So much amusing stuff to do in the Wind River Range, not enough time. Nearby lakes? Sure, Upper Slide Lake is near Dallas Lake, and Gros Ventre River has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the                  70's to Dallas Lake while night lows are regularly in the 40's.
