     This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Purdy Basin Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Jenny Lake Lodge. Float down the rapids of Granite Creek in a kayak. Lakes? Sure, Goose Lake is nearby. Be careful coming to the Wind River Range, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Dallas Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Red Hills Campground is a wonderful local campground; a trip to Grand Teton National Park is worthwhile.
 
   Now, you may think that's a load but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Dallas Lake. Paddling on Gros Ventre River is so much fun; let's not forget Burnt Creek which is a stream that you may bump into while here. Upper Slide Lake is a wonderful lake next to Dallas Lake, and after a long day outdoors Colter Bay Village is a fine site to spend a night or two.
That right there is a load of entertaining things already but it goes on, the Wind River
 
               Range has it all. Don't leave Dallas Lake without first going for a hike along the Clear Creek Trail, and if you came to camp Crystal Creek Campground is a good place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. A good location like Upper Slide here at Dallas Lake is too great to miss, and going for a hike on the Lava Creek Trail is always a fine adventure. It is very arid here at Dallas Lake typically; during the month of January you get the most snow around here; the driest month of the year is July.
Dallas Lake is a beautiful lake in the Wind River Range. At Dallas Lake throughout the days of summer highs are in the 70's, and the nighttime is a bit chillier of course, frequently in the 40's. For the duration of the winter the highs are usually in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Dallas Lake.
