    Dallas Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. Togwotee Mountain Lodge is a great site to get some rest, and Crystal Creek Campground is a nice local campground. Looking for something near Dallas Lake? Goose Lake is nearby; going for a hike on the Purdy Basin Trail is always a good adventure. It is very waterless here at Dallas Lake usually; January is the wettest month with most snow, and July is the  
   month with the least moisture.
The Wind River Range scenery is always beautiful. Go for a hike on the Clear Creek Trail, and visiting Grand Teton National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. So much amusing stuff to do in the Wind River Range, not enough time. Nearby lakes? Sure, Upper Slide Lake is near Dallas Lake, and Gros Ventre River has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby.

               70's to Dallas Lake while night lows are regularly in the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's; nighttime lows during the wintertime for Dallas Lake tend to be in the 0's. And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool stuff just keep reading. Do set aside some time for Upper Slide since you're here at Dallas Lake; there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Lava Creek Trail.
There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Wind River Range. Paddling on Granite Creek is so much fun, and if you need a place to stay Colter Bay Village is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Take a little journey to Burnt Creek if you're here at Dallas Lake, and Red Hills Campground is a fine campground nearby.
