A visit to Dale Lake is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is perfect here at Dale Lake, you can go for a hike along the New Fork Trail, and after a long day outdoors Baymont Inn & Suites Pinedale is a fine place to spend a night or two. Best Western Pinedale Inn is a delightful site to get some rest, and the top of Brimstone Mountain is easily spotted from Dale Lake. For the period of the long summer days here at Dale Lake, high

| | temperatures mostly get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Highs throughout the wintertime are regularly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Dale Lake are in the 10's. This place, the Wind River Range, has so much outdoors exciting things. Going for a hike along the Shannon Pass Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and do take a look at Stonehammer Lake, it's a beautiful lake. | |

If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Wind River Range. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Pole Creek, and Dale Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Trails End Campground is a nice local
campground. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do near Dale Lake. A good location to camp here at Dale Lake is Upper Fremont Lake Campground; a pretty lake like Peak Lake is a magnificent place to stop at. Dale Lake
is a location that is relatively dried up generally; June is when you get the most rain here; February is when it's the driest. Dale Lake is one of the lakes here in the Wind River Range. The Pine Creek Canyon Trail is a good hiking
trail next to Dale Lake, and nearby Cube Rock Pass is a brilliant spot to go. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent site for whitewater paddling near Dale Lake is Boulder Creek.
