Throughout the summer highs here at Dads Lake reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are regularly in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Dads Lake dip into the-10's. Camping is available at Big Sandy Campground; on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Francis Lake Tail. Dads       Lake is regularly a pretty dry place; the wettest month of the year is commonly May, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. There is a pleasant hiking trail close to Dads Lake called the Highline Trail. These mountains rock, just check out all the exciting stuff to do in the Wind River Range. There are some great whitewater spots                  on Bull Lake Creek, and nearby you discover the Shadow Lake Trail which is a great hiking trail. Dads Lake is located in the Wind River Range. If you get bored of Dads Lake, you could also visit close by Divide Lake; don't forget to take a splendid little spree to Dads Creek. This lake is so wonderful.
