Heron Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and if you haven’t been to Grand Teton National Park, you have to schedule some time for it while you're here. There's some flowing water nearby, Second Creek is a stream you can have a look at during your stay, and paddling on Ditch Creek is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Get dripping wet paddling on Snake River, and going for a hike on       the Hermitage Point Trail is always a nice adventure. Summertime highs at Cygnet Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 70's with overnight lows in the 30's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Cygnet Pond. If you need a site to stay Colter Bay Village is a great choice, and why not camp at Lizard Creek Campground since you're here at Cygnet Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Emma Matilda                  Lake Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. A perfect nearby hotel is Togwotee Mountain Lodge, and a great spot to camp here at Cygnet Pond is Signal Mountain Campground. While you're here at Cygnet Pond, you could also take a look at charming Swan Lake, and don't leave Cygnet Pond without first going for a hike along the Two Ocean Lake Trail.
