Cutthoat Lake is regularly a rather waterless location; May is the month that gets the most rain; February is when it's the driest. Take a hike on the Circle Trail; after a long day outdoors The Sage And Sand Motel LLC is a magnificent place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Have a good hiking adventure along the Medicine Bow Trail, and if you came to camp Lewis Lake       Campground is a brilliant place to do that. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Through the summer at Cutthoat Lake highs are commonly in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are mostly in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Cutthoat Lake through the wintertime typically drop into the 10's. So much fun stuff to do in the Medicine Bow Mountains, not enough time. Hiking along the Lakes Trail                  is nice fun, and camping at Mirror Lake Campground is always a good experience. North Platte River has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby. Lakes? Sure, Arrowhead Lake is nearby. Cutthoat Lake is a beautiful lake in the Medicine Bow Mountains. So much amusing stuff to do here at Cutthoat Lake, too magnificent to be true.
