    Crystal Lake is a lake worth visiting. If you haven’t been to Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area, you should schedule some time for it while you're here, and dry warm beds await you at Budget Host Wheels Inn. Crystal Lake is a location that is reasonably dehydrated commonly; the wettest month of the year is commonly May, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is December. If the weather is great here at Crystal Lake, you can go for a hike  
   along the Elkhorn Trail, and getting to North Fork Crystal Creek from Crystal Lake is painless.
You don’t have to go far from Crystal Lake to spot the water at Crystal Lake Dam; Five Springs Campground is a good local campground. If only every site had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great world it would be. Going for a hike along the Burnt Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. On a good day
 
               at Crystal Lake you can take a hike along the Dry Horse Trail, and Crystal Lake is a perfect spot to visit for more than one day, Porcupine Campground is a perfect spot to camp nearby.
During the long summer days, highs mostly are in the 80's at Crystal Lake. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Crystal Lake drop into the 0's.
