Do stop by Crescent Lake while you're in this part of Wyoming. If only every spot had this much outdoors cool things, what a great earth it would be. If you need a place to stay The Passage Resort at Big Horn is a fine choice; on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Game Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A good nearby hotel is Alamo Motel Sheridan. There's so much to do here at Crescent Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Twin Lakes

There is a tremendous hiking trail in the neighborhood of Crescent Lake called the Edelman Trail, and unsurprisingly Porcupine Creek is a charming stream that is worth checking out. Crescent Lake gets very little precipitation; most of the snow falls during April; the driest of the months is February. Crescent Lake is one of the lakes here in the Bighorn Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Paintrock Creek; hey, Gotta
ski right? Big Horn Ski is a delightful place to do that. So many fun things to do here in the Bighorn Mountains, too pleasant to be true. Crescent Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Coffeen Park Campground is
a delightful local campground, and you're possibly into lakes, Lake Alibi is one of those nearby.
At Crescent Lake through the summer highs are in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 30's. The wintertime
comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Crescent Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Man, is there lots of entertaining things to do in the Bighorn Mountains. Tongue River is a pleasant whitewater spot next to Crescent Lake; don't leave Crescent Lake without first checking out Weston Point.
