Crescent Lake is located in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Around Crescent Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest month of the year is February. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Medicine Bow Mountains. Lewis Lake Campground is a wonderful local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Mirror Lake Campground is a delightful campground nearby, and the       Circle Trail offers hiking at its best. You simply have to love Crescent Lake. After a long day outdoors The Sage And Sand Motel LLC is a splendid place to spend a night or two, and Crescent Lake is right by the Lakes Trail. But wait, there's more cool stuff to do in the Medicine Bow Mountains. The skiing at Snowy Range is good, and not far from Crescent Lake you'll find Shelf Lakes which is a beautiful lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's                  for you then we recommend North Platte River; hiking along the Medicine Bow Trail is glorious fun. Summertime highs at Crescent Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Through the winter the highs are usually in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Crescent Lake plunge into the 10's.
