The Yellowstone Trail offers hiking at its best, and a nice place to camp here at Crater Lake is Pinnacle Campground. Super 8 Motel - Dubois is a glorious site to get some rest; Crater Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Brooks Lake Campground is a fine local campground. Crater Lake gets very little rainfall; most of the rain falls during June; the driest month is October. This       lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Marston Pass Trail, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Crater Lake; Soda Fork Trail is a fine local trail. For the duration of the warm days of summer highs here at Crater Lake get into the 70's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 30's.
