The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Crater Lake, and all through the night it cools down to the 30's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; overnight lows at Crater Lake during the wintertime commonly plunge into the-10's. Going for a hike on the Marston Pass Trail is always a perfect adventure; a great place to camp here at Crater Lake is Brooks Lake Campground.       This lake is so wonderful. The Soda Fork Trail is a fine hiking trail close to Crater Lake, and camping is available at Pinnacle Campground. Near Crater Lake you come across the Yellowstone Trail which is a great hiking trail, and a glorious nearby hotel is Branding Iron Inn.
