This place, the Medicine Bow Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Crater Lake is a tremendous location to camp, Deep Creek Campground is a tremendous location, and there are good sites to look at along the Arlington Pack Trail. The Sage And Sand Motel LLC is a tremendous place to get some rest, and there's great hiking along the Lakes Trail. Looking for some flowing water? Try Carlson Creek; the snow       is good at Snowy Range. This lake is so wonderful. On a wonderful day you get a sight of Lookout Mountain from Crater Lake, and don't leave Crater Lake without first going for a hike along the Circle Trail. Crater Lake gets very little rain; May is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is February. At Crater Lake during the summer highs are in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. High                  temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Crater Lake are in the 10's. Be careful coming to Crater Lake, you might not ever want to go home again. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Crater Lake has to offer, you can camp at Upper Nash Fork Campground.
