A visit to Crater Lake is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is good on Tensleep Creek; nearby you find the Mistymoon Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail. Camping at Crater Lake is good fun, Coffeen Park Campground is a good local campground, and why not head up to Big Horn Ski and strap some skis to your feet. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Bighorn Mountains. While you're here

Paddling on Paintrock Creek is so much fun, and going for a hike on the Edelman Trail is always a good adventure. High temperatures at Crater Lake through the summertime are in the 60's. Summer overnight lows
plunge down to the 30's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while Crater Lake nighttime low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 0's.
