There's so much to do here at Coyote Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Cowboy Court Trailer Park is a brilliant spot for that, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Old Indian Trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Coyote Reservoir with nighttime lows in the 30's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs       in the 20's while Coyote Reservoir nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. North Atelope Draw is a glorious spot to spend some time at; if you need a place to stay Big Piney Motel is a great choice. Coyote Reservoir is pretty waterless usually; most of the snow falls throughout January, and April is when it's the driest.
