    Go to Cow Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Cow Lake gets a typical amount of precipitation; January is the month that gets the most snow, and July is when it's the driest. Do pay a visit to Grand Teton National Park if you're here at Cow Lake; if you came to camp Flagg Ranch is a great site to do that. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Cow Lake with night lows in the 30's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's, and overnight lows at Cow Lake  
   throughout the winter usually dip into the-10's.
This lake is so wonderful. What a location this is for outdoors people. The Emma Matilda Lake Trail is a splendid hiking trail right next door to Cow Lake; if you need a spot to stay Jenny Lake Lodge is a great choice. There's so much to do here at Cow Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Signal Mountain Campground is a great place for that, and needless to say Christian Creek is a pretty stream that
 
               is worth taking a look at.
There's whitewater on Ditch Creek for all you adrenaline people, and get your pulse rate up on the perfect whitewater of Gros Ventre River. This lake is so wonderful. Near Cow Lake you locate the Hermitage Point Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail; you acquire a pleasant view of Signal Mountain from here. Going for a hike on the Two Ocean Lake Trail is always a nice adventure, and dry warm beds await you at Colter Bay Village.
