So much entertaining stuff to do in the Park Range, not sufficient time. This is a splendid vicinity for folks who like lakes. Silver Lake is a lake in the vicinity, and the summit of Doane Peak can be seen from Cow Creek Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There are brilliant places to look at along the Elkhorn Stock Driveway. It is very dehydrated here at Cow Creek Lake ordinarily; May is when       you get the most rain here; February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Cow Creek Lake without first going for a hike along the Fireline Trail, and why not pop by close by Nellie Creek if you're here at Cow Creek Lake. But wait, there's more to do close to Cow Creek Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Encampment River, and camping is available at Bottle Creek Campground. A                  pleasant close by hotel is The Sage And Sand Motel LLC, and why not camp at Haskins Creek Campground since you're here at Cow Creek Lake. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Park Range. You're most likely hooked on lakes, Cow Creek Reservoir is one of those nearby, and if you need a place to stay CrossTimbers at Steamboat is a delightful choice. There's some interesting stuff to see at Cow Creek Lake Dam right next door to Cow Creek Lake, and nearby you find good locations like Hidden Treasure Gulch.
