Cottonwood Reservoir is a nice lake to visit. Cottonwood Reservoir is pretty dry regularly; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain while January is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Emigrant Trail is good fun. There's so much to do here at Cottonwood Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Homestead Village is a tremendous spot for that. | | Reservoir reach the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Cottonwood Reservoir dip into the 0's. Yep, outdoors cool stuff to do are beyond doubt plentiful here at Cottonwood Reservoir. Haystack Draw is right next door to Cottonwood Reservoir and is a nice place, and if you're looking for some flowing water? | |

Try Cottonwood Creek. Have a nice hiking adventure along the Bear River Smiths Fork Trail; the panoramas at Fossil Butte National Monument will blow your mind. There's always Cottonwood Dam to pop by in close proximity to Cottonwood
Reservoir; there are some nice whitewater spots on Blacks Fork - West Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Blacks Fork - East Fork, and folks from Evanston
love to come here. Cottonwood Reservoir is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Fort Bridger RV Park is a glorious local campground, and while you're here you can take a hike along the High Line Trail. The panorama of
Bridger Butte from Cottonwood Reservoir is delightful; a pleasant visit to Nebraska Flat is a pleasant way to spend an afternoon.
