Why not stop by Cottonwood Reservoir if you're passing through these parts. You can run the rapids of Blacks Fork - West Fork in the neighborhood of Cottonwood Reservoir, and there is a tremendous hiking trail close by called the Emigrant Trail. Summer at Cottonwood Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. is a nice place to go if you're at Cottonwood Reservoir, and the peak of Bridger Butte can be observed from Cottonwood Reservoir. If time allows, Fossil Butte National Monument is a national park worth stopping at. A great location
for whitewater paddling right next door to Cottonwood Reservoir is Blacks Fork - East Fork; why not pop by Cottonwood Dam since you're here. Having a splendid time at Cottonwood Reservoir is uncomplicated. Some of the water close
by flows, like Cottonwood Creek; camping at Cottonwood Reservoir is tremendous fun, Marion Aimone Trailer Park is a tremendous local campground. During your spree to Cottonwood Reservoir you'll meet some folks from Evanston for sure;
not far from Cottonwood Reservoir you'll find Cottonwood Reservoir which is a charming lake. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the High Line Trail is always a good adventure, and a pleasant spree to Nebraska Flat is a pleasant way to spend an afternoon.
