Cottonwood Lake is a beautiful lake in the Wind River Range. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Wind River Range. A pretty lake like Upper Silver Lakes next to Cottonwood Lake is a fine place to stop at, and you can go for a hike on the Cottonwood Trail. A great spot to camp here at Cottonwood Lake is Scab Creek Campground,       and don't leave Cottonwood Lake without first going for a hike along the Chilcoot Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Whisky Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth visiting; there's delightful hiking along the Jim Lake Trail. Having a fine time at Cottonwood Lake is painless. Best Western Pinedale Inn is a splendid site to get some rest. For the duration of the days of summer at Cottonwood Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's, and during                  summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Highs during the winter are frequently in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Cottonwood Lake temperatures descend to the-10's. Cottonwood Lake gets very little rainfall; the wettest month of the year is commonly May, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
