If you like lakes and you're in this part of Wyoming you can check out Corpening Reservoir. This lake is one of the great places here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Corpening Reservoir is pretty dried out mostly; the wettest month of the year is usually May, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at The Sage And Sand Motel LLC.

| | need more than a day to look at everything Corpening Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Mirror Lake Campground, and do stop at Corpening Dam while you're here. The peak of Pine Butte can be spotted from Corpening Reservoir, and people from Laramie love to come here. Cecil Park is a glorious location here at Corpening Reservoir, and there are splendid sites to discover along the Circle Trail.

ski! Snowy Range is a magnificent site to do that; you can stay the night at Silver Lake Campground. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. You could also have a look at Arrastre Lake if you're
here at Corpening Reservoir; it's close by; there is a delightful hiking trail nearby called the Medicine Bow Trail. At Corpening Reservoir during the warm months highs are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures
drop down into the 40's. During the wintertime highs are frequently in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Corpening Reservoir are in the 10's.
You definitely have to adore Corpening Reservoir. A great spot for whitewater
paddling near Corpening Reservoir is North Platte River, and going for a hike on the Lakes Trail is always a pleasant adventure.
