    It's always fun to stop by Copper Lakes. The Absaroka Range scenery is always beautiful. An average amount of rain falls at Copper Lakes; throughout the month of June you get the most rain around here; the driest month is October. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things in the Absaroka Range. After a long day outdoors Lupine Inn Red Lodge is a pleasant place to spend a night or two, and at Copper Lakes you can see Stinkingwater Peak.
Summertime highs
 
   at Copper Lakes frequently tend to be in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Copper Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is pleasant here at Copper Lakes, you can go for a hike along the Blackwater Trail, and camping at Newton Creek Campground is always a good experience. So much amusing stuff close to Copper Lakes, completely phenomenal.  
               You can run the rapids of Crandall Creek close to Copper Lakes; you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the Papoose Trail.
Copper Lakes is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Rex Hale Campground is a tremendous local campground, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Lodgepole Trail. So much enjoyable stuff in the Absaroka Range, just inspiring. Get your heart beating on the delightful whitewater of Shoshone River - North Fork, and while you're here, you could explore Copper Creek.
