This lake is so wonderful. The amount of rainfall that falls at Copper Lakes is close to the national average; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and October is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is fine here at Copper Lakes, you can go for a hike along the Lodgepole Trail; you're probably keen on lakes, Swamp Lake is one of those close by. We stayed at the very large two family campsite, the deepest if I remember right next to the path taking you to the bridge. My grandparents now rest there forever and so do my memories of childhood.
