A great close by hotel is The Passage Resort at Big Horn, and Cooper Reservoir is right by the Roosevelt Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water? Try Bonanza Creek. Near Cooper Reservoir you locate Cooper Draw which is a tremendous place to pop by, and magnificent skiing awaits you at Antelope Butte. And if that's not sufficient, there's       heaps more to do close to Cooper Reservoir. Get your heart pumping on the magnificent whitewater of Tongue River, obviously you could also take a look at Steele Reservoir since you're here; it's not far at all. There's so much to do here at Cooper Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Tongue River Campground is a great location for that, and you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the Game Creek Trail.
