This lake is so wonderful. Rock River Koa Kampground is a nice campground nearby, and great hiking is available along the Arlington Pack Trail. For the period of the warmest time of the year highs here at Cooper Reservoir get into the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 30's, and nighttime lows       in the 10's for Cooper Reservoir. Cooper Dam is picturesque and it's next to Cooper Reservoir; you'll meet a lot of folks from Laramie here. Snowy Range is a delightful local ski area, and don't leave Cooper Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Overland Trail.
