     Coon Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Coon Lake is a location that is reasonably dried up frequently; May is the wettest month with most rain; December meanwhile is the driest month. Coon Lake is a beautiful lake in the Wind River Range. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Wind River Range. You'll locate a charming lake called Tayo Lake near Coon Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Dickinson Creek Campground is a nice spot to camp.

   cool things close to Coon Lake will keep you coming back over and over. Big Sandy Campground is a great local campground, and Coon Lake is right by the Ice Lakes Trail. Summertime highs at Coon Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Coon Lake are in the 10's.

I went up there 15 years ago and just got back from another week this last weekend....the fishing was much, much better in the past. I think the WY Game and Fish spends all their golden trout stocking funds on wolves now. The stocking ended the year the wolves were reintroduced.........Hmmm, isn't that interesting! Also....too many llamas and horses bringing the light-weights up the mountain to clutter the place this time....the trails looked like a lost group of Custard's cavalry must still be riding the trails. :( But the beauty of the area will always remain. Thank you, Lord, for your beautiful handiwork....
