If you are in Crook county it's always a good idea to stop by Cook Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Black Hills. These mountains rock, just explore all the fun stuff to do in the Black Hills. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Inn At Sundance is a splendid choice; a pleasant spot to camp here at Cook Lake is Bear Lodge Campground. All through the summertime at Cook Lake highs are mostly in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. The

| | winter comes with highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Cook Lake.
If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Black Hills. A spree to Scott Spring will fill your soul with fine feelings, and why not a little side journey to Deer Creek. hiking at its best. And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool things just keep reading. Why not camp at Mountain View Campground since you're here at Cook Lake, and there's great hiking along the Simmons Trail.
This lake
is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Sundance Mountain Inn, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Cook Lake; Rauth Trail is a tremendous local trail. Lake Cook Dam is not far at all from Cook Lake, and there
are other places here than Cook Lake, for example Lake Cook.
Cook Lake is a location that is rather waterless mostly; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
