Coney Lake is pretty dried up usually; April is when you get the most snow here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You clearly have to go for the Bighorn Mountains. On a good day at Coney Lake you can take a hike along the Game Creek Trail, and lakes are such serene sites, why not stop by Lost Lake. The Bighorn Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Coney Lake you can take

| | a hike along the Wolf Creek Trail, and Coney Lake is a wonderful place to visit for more than one day, East Woodrock Campground is a wonderful place to camp nearby. These mountains rock, just explore all the fun stuff to do in the Bighorn Mountains. If you need a spot to stay Rodeway Inn & Suites Sheridan is a good choice, and Rock Chuck Pass is in the vicinity, and is a brilliant site. Lakes Campground is a tremendous campground nearby; Tongue River is a tremendous whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Paintrock
Creek; skiing at Antelope Butte is one of those things you just ought to do. There is a tremendous hiking trail near Coney Lake called the Edelman Trail, and a pretty lake like Stull Lakes is a perfect location to pop by. Dry
warm beds await you at The Passage Resort at Big Horn, and delightful scenery and delightful skiing is what you get at Big Horn Ski. Through the long summer days at Coney Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 60's, and the overnight
is slightly cooler of course, generally in the 30's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Coney Lake are in the 0's.
