Coney Lake is one of the lakes here in the Bighorn Mountains. So many entertaining things in the Bighorn Mountains, just remarkable. Hit the slopes at Big Horn Ski close at hand, and there's whitewater on Tongue River for all you thrill seekers. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Bighorn Mountains. You can run the rapids of Paintrock Creek in close proximity to Coney Lake, and the best way       to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Antelope Butte. Coney Lake is a wonderful place to visit for more than one day, Twin Lakes Campground is a wonderful place to camp nearby, and there's perfect hiking along the Edelman Trail. Summer at Coney Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 60's while nighttime lows are usually in the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures                  at Coney Lake plunge into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Do explore Lost Lake right next door to Coney Lake, it's a delightful lake, and after a long day outdoors The Passage Resort at Big Horn is a good site to spend a night or two. Now, you may think that's a lot but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Coney Lake. A fine place in the neighborhood of Coney Lake is Rock Chuck Pass; don't leave Coney Lake without first going for a hike along the Game Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Coney Lake, you could also take a look at beautiful Stull Lakes, and dry warm beds await you at Wingate by Wyndham Sheridan WY. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Coney Lake has to offer, you can camp at East Woodrock Campground; you can go for a hike on the Wolf Creek Trail.
