There are other places here than Columbus Reservoir, for example Hundred Springs Reservoir,       and North Fork - Medicine Bow National Forest is a delightful campground nearby. If you need a location to stay First Gold Inn is a brilliant choice, and if you came for an overnight stay Brooklyn Lake - Medicine Bow National Forest is a great site to camp. Through the days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Columbus Reservoir. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. Throughout the wintertime this place                  gets highs in the 30's, and night lows all through the wintertime for Columbus Reservoir tend to be in the 0's. There are plenty of folks from Laramie here at Columbus Reservoir, and the Overland Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Lone Tree Creek is a stunning stream that is worth going to; there is a nice hiking trail close by called the Lincoln Trail.
