Snowy Range is a very popular ski area close at hand, and going for a hike on the Overland Trail is always a splendid adventure. Coal Bank Reservoir is       a tremendous site to visit for more than one day, Rock River Koa Kampground is a tremendous site to camp nearby; you can go for a hike on the Arlington Pack Trail. Coal Bank Reservoir gets very little precipitation; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and January on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
