Cloud Peak Reservoir is regularly a quite dried out spot; April is when you get the most snow here, and February is when it's the driest. That right there is heaps of fun things already but it goes on, the Bighorn Mountains has it all. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Angeline Trail, and Cloud Peak Dam is a delightful site, positively worth a visit. Be careful coming to the Bighorn Mountains,       you might not ever wanna go home again. You'll find a pretty lake called Cloud Peak Reservoir near Cloud Peak Reservoir, and if you need a spot to stay Sheridan-Days Inn is a good choice. Lakes are such peaceful sites, why not have a look at Flatiron Lake close to Cloud Peak Reservoir, and a magnificent spot for whitewater paddling is Tensleep Creek. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling                  on Clear Creek, and Cloud Peak Reservoir is right by the Penrose Park Trail. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. Camping at Circle Park Campground is always a great experience, and it's a pleasant idea to pop by Elk Creek. Cloud Peak Reservoir is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Highland Park Campground is a nice local campground; the Solitude Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Throughout the summer months, highs mostly are in the 60's at Cloud Peak Reservoir. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 30's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Cloud Peak Reservoir.
