What a nice lake Cliff Lake is. The amount of rain that falls at Cliff Lake is close to the national average; June is when you get the most rain here while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you get bored of Cliff Lake, you could also visit close by Fantan Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Beauty Lake Trail. That right there is a heap already, but it carries on; Cliff Lake has it all. In the event that you don't mind

| | getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River, and a lake nearby is Meadow Lake. This lake is so wonderful. At Cliff Lake you can see Bird Mountain, and the Lewis and Clark Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is located in the wonderful Absaroka Range. This lake is so wonderful. Fork Yellowstone River is a great whitewater spot nearby. Camping is available at Island Lake Campground, and do take a hike on the Beartooth Highlakes Trail. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Cliff Lake. During the moonlight
hours it's ordinarily in the 30's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Cliff Lake plunge into the 0's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Absaroka Range.
You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Red Lodge Mountain since you're here, and why not camp at Long Lake Campground since you're here at Cliff Lake.
