Good hiking is available along the High Meadow Trail, and you       can stay the night at Big Sandy Campground. This lake is located in the wonderful Wind River Range. Cliff Lake is a location that is quite dehydrated mostly; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is December. All through the warmest time of the year highs here at Cliff Lake reach the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in                  the 10's to Cliff Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
