If you are traveling by, why not stop by Clear Lake. There are magnificent locations to discover along the Clear Creek Trail; in the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Green River. This lake is so wonderful. the winter temperatures at Clear Lake fall into the 10's. Clear Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Upper Fremont Lake Campground is a glorious local campground, and nearby you find brilliant spots like Ram Pass.
Clear Lake is located in the Wind River Range. Be careful coming to the Wind River Range, you might not ever want to go back home again. Going for a hike on the Slide Lake Trail is always a nice adventure, and whitewater paddling
is wonderful on Boulder Creek. Not much rainfall falls here at Clear Lake; through the month of June you get the most rain around here; February is when it's the driest.
That right there is a heap of enjoyable things already but
it goes on, the Wind River Range has it all. Dry warm beds await you at Chinook Winds Mountain Lodge, and don't leave Clear Lake without first going for a hike along the Roaring Fork Trail.
