There's some flowing water nearby, Dry Creek is a stream you can stop at while you're here, and if you need a site to stay Budget Host Inn Cody is a good choice. City Reservoir is generally a quite arid location; May is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. For the duration of the summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at City Reservoir. For the period of the dark hours       of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's with temperatures at City Reservoir dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. If you came for an overnight stay Ponderosa Campground is a great place to camp, and a gorgeous lake like Alkali Lake is a good location to explore. Camping at City Reservoir is good fun, Camp Cody Trailer Park is a good local campground, and you don’t have to go far from City                  Reservoir to see the water at Markham Dam. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff at City Reservoir. For you golfers we recommend nearby Olive-Glenn Golf & Country Club. This lake is so wonderful.
