Wagon Wheel Motel is a great location to get some rest, and there's always Church Buttes Dam to stop at in the vicinity of Church Buttes Reservoir. Through the summertime at Church Buttes Reservoir temperatures are commonly in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are generally in the 20's with temperatures at Church Buttes Reservoir dipping down       into the-10's through winter nights.
