It is very dried up here at Chugwater Reservoir frequently; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is January.       This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Sweetwater River, and Chugwater Reservoir is a nice place to camp, K Bar Ranch is a nice place. You get a brilliant sight of Ninemile Hill from Chugwater Reservoir, and dry warm beds await you at Days Inn. Lakes? Sure, Charlies Reservoir is in the vicinity. During the warm months at Chugwater Reservoir highs are frequently in the 80's with night lows in the 50's.
