Why not stop by Christmas Lake if you're passing through these parts. Christmas Lake is located in the Absaroka Range. In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River; Gardner Lake is a glorious lake close by. A common amount of rain falls here at Christmas Lake; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is February.

| | The view of pretty Tibbs Butte near Christmas Lake is nice; a tremendous nearby hotel is Yodeler Motel. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. If you need a place to stay Lupine Inn Red Lodge is a wonderful choice, and whitewater paddling is great on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River.
The Beartooth Loop National Recreation Trail offers hiking at its best, and pretty scenery and great skiing is what you acquire at Red Lodge Mountain. Just can't get enough of | |

in the 70's while overnight lows are frequently in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Christmas Lake.

Range. Christmas Lake is right by the Morrison Trail, and camping at Christmas Lake is brilliant fun, Buena Vista Campground is a brilliant local campground.
