Just can't get enough of Chris Lake. A lake close by is Edmond Lake, and Scab Creek Campground is a fine campground nearby. Chris Lake is a location that is quite dehydrated generally; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Just can't get enough of the Wind River Range. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Pole Creek; a great close by       hotel is Best Western Pinedale Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Lake Ethel Trail, of course you could also take a look at Timico Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wind River Range. And if that's not sufficient there's a load more fun things to do in the Wind River Range. Don't leave Chris Lake without first going for a hike along the Boulder Canyon Trail. Put some time aside                  to spend at North Fork Falls since you're here at Chris Lake, and you can stay the night at Boulder Campground. There's delightful hiking along the Horseshoe Lake Trail, and glide down the rapids of Boulder Creek in a kayak. Summertime highs at Chris Lake mostly tend to be in the 70's with overnight lows in the 40's.
