This lake is located in the wonderful Bighorn Mountains. And that's not all there is to do here in the Bighorn Mountains. Lots of folks from Sheridan come to Chill Lakes. Have a fine hiking adventure along the Solitude Trail, and Circle Park Campground is a good campground nearby. High temperatures at Chill Lakes through the summertime are in the 60's, and the overnight is somewhat chillier of course, generally in the 30's.       The winter brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Chill Lakes. This place, Chill Lakes, it definitely has so much outdoors fun stuff. On a beautiful day you get a panorama of Bighorn Peak from Chill Lakes, and Lost Twin Lakes is a nearby lake that you could visit. If you get bored of Chill Lakes, you could also pop by nearby Seven Brothers Lakes, and Powder River - North Fork has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot close                  by. So much cool stuff in the Bighorn Mountains, just mind-boggling. Going for a hike along the Mistymoon Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tensleep Creek. Not much rain falls here at Chill Lakes; during the month of April you get the most snow around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful.
