A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Chain Lakes; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and October is the month with the least moisture. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Chain Lakes, and through the night it cools down to the 30's. All through the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Chain       Lakes temperatures plunge to the 0's. If only every site had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great planet it would be. Paddling on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River is so much fun, and unsurprisingly, this is a glorious vicinity for folks who like lakes, Little Bear Lake is a lake close at hand. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Absaroka Range. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Beauty Lake Trail, and the                  best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Red Lodge Mountain. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Paradise Lake; hiking is a popular thing to do around Chain Lakes; Beartooth Loop National Recreation Trail is a nice local trail. The Absaroka Range scenery is always beautiful. Dry warm beds await you at Yodeler Motel, and if you came for an overnight stay Long Lake Campground is a brilliant location to camp. These mountains rock, just explore all the cool stuff to do in the Absaroka Range. Clarks Fork Yellowstone River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
