The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Cavender Reservoir. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. At Cavender Dam close to Cavender Reservoir there are some out of the ordinary things to see, and people from Laramie love to come here.       There's so much to do here at Cavender Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Rock River Koa Kampground is a delightful location for that, and obviously Cooper Creek is a delightful stream that is worth stopping at.
