No need to travel far to stop at out of the ordinary stuff like Castle Rock. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Castlerock Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at BJ'S Campground. A nice close by hotel is Hospitality House, and Castlerock Dam is a charming spot, positively worth stopping at. There's so much to do here at Castlerock Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, B J's Campground is a splendid       site for that. During the summertime highs here at Castlerock Reservoir reach the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Castlerock Reservoir dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Not much rainfall falls here at Castlerock Reservoir; the wettest month of the year is usually May, that's the one that rains the most; January is when it's the driest.
