A visit to Cascade Lake is always a good idea. Cascade Lake is located in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on North Platte River, and don't leave Cascade Lake without first going for a hike along the Medicine Bow Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
All the outdoors fun stuff in the vicinity of Cascade Lake will keep you coming back over and over. Not far from Cascade Lake you get some pleasant water scenery at Corpening Dam, and dry

| | warm beds await you at The Sage And Sand Motel LLC. Throughout the warm months at Cascade Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Cascade Lake. Having a glorious time in the Medicine Bow Mountains is painless. Camping at Lewis Lake Campground is always a delightful experience, and brilliant hiking is available along the Lakes Trail. You just can't imagine
the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Medicine Bow Mountains has to offer. Head up to Snowy Range and strap some skis to your feet, and the vista of striking Pine Butte is brilliant. This lake is so wonderful. You'll hit upon a wonderful
lake called Campbell Lake near Cascade Lake, and Cascade Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Mirror Lake Campground is a wonderful local campground.
Cascade Lake is ordinarily a quite dried out location; May is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
