It is very dehydrated here at Carson Lakes usually; May is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. During the warmest time of the year here at Carson Lakes, high temperatures frequently get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Carson Lakes. Don't leave Carson Lakes without first       going for a hike along the Overland Trail, needless to say you could also visit Brown Rock Reservoir while you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful.
