In Wyoming there are many beautiful lakes, Carson Lake is one of them. Yeah, come up here to the Absaroka Range for a fine time. Whitewater paddling is great on Wind River; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Pinedale Inn. Carson Lake is commonly a quite dehydrated site; through June this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is February. Carson Lake is one of the lakes here in the Absaroka Range.

in the vicinity of Carson Lake called the Parque Creek Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Double Cabin Campground is a tremendous spot to camp.

Super 8 Motel - Dubois is a nice site to spend a night or two, and going for a hike on the Burroughs Creek Trail is always a good adventure. For the period of the warm days of summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Carson Lake
while overnight lows are commonly in the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Carson Lake are in the 10's.
At Carson Lake you can observe Boedeker Butte, and there are perfect locations to explore along the Twilight Creek Trail.
